Curriculum development of University Computing and ICT Education in Mongolia

The university-level ICT curriculum in Mongolian universities is seen as not satisfactory for the following reasons:
- The curriculum is not flexible and not adaptable to the fast growing development of the information and communications technology field;
- There is no curriculum differentiation between the bachelor, master and PhD courses;
- Content is mostly limited to programming and use of application programs;
- There are no linkages between the content of the informatics subjects of the school curriculum and the tertiary ICT education.
